1 year from now...

Alright! One year from now and I'll be leaving the army! YES!!! Lol... Seriously, a lot has happened for the past few months and I think I'm glad that I still have one more year before I ORD.

After SISPEC, I went to Stagmont Camp as a Signaller. From there, I graduated as 3rd sergeant and got posted to 2 Signal Battalion. Ask me how is it there and I will just say that its good. Meet some new friends and found out what its like to be in a unit. Oh and I'll be goin to Australia soon for Ex. Wallaby. Kinda excited but at the same time, cant wait for it to be over. I mean I'm going there to have training, not as a holiday, thus the feeling kinda sux....lol

The worst part of this year was to celebrate my 21st birthday in camp!!! Lol, although I'm not alone, but its kind of sad that I cannot go out and have fun. I dun mind staying at home and doing nothing, rather than in camp.

Most of my friends are now studying in Universities now. Kinda missed them and also missed studying. Haha I cant believe I said that, but its the truth... Maybe after I ord, I continue to study, though I have not thought of what I want to study...

Well, I'm running out of ideas on what to write anymore, so I'll just end here and post something when I'm free. Bye!

2008

Hi... Its been a year since I blog. As you can see, I've not updated about my life at all, guess you can say I'm kinda lazy...lol. For now, lets talk about the year 2007.

Seriously for the first quarter of 2007, I do not really remember much as it wasn't that important. Wait a minute, oh! its was my poly graduation!!! Haha so it should be quite important for me because that means I'm free from studying for exams! But boy was I regretting it, why you say? Well you will know what I mean when I go on the the later parts of the year. After graduating from Singapore Polytechnic, I did not look for a job like the rest as I knew that I'll be enlisting to the army soon. Instead, I continued to work in Kumon.

So for the most of middle part of 2007, I've been working in Kumon. I really enjoyed working there as I really enjoyed working with the children. Although they can be quite annoying at times, but most of the time they are really adorable and funny. The way they talk and do things makes you wonder if you were like that when you were young, and whether to get mad or laugh when they do something wrong. My boss has also changed for the better...by a bit, but its better then nothing or changing for the worst...lol
Another reason I work there is because the job is easy to do and I do not have to work everyday or get to work real early. But seriously, the pay SUX! lol...
I also enjoy working with the 'aunties' and colleagues there, particularly Irene and Sandy because they really take care of me and also treat my as one of their 'aunty' lol... During the later part of 2007, Irene, Sandy and my boss will always go to malaysia to do shopping. The board shorts there are definitely cheaper then the ones in Singapore! I recommend you guys to go there and buy!

And now comes the last quarter of 2007, 19 September, where I was enlisted to join the army. Its was soooo BORING! Seriously life sux down there but I've no choice.
Long speech cut short, three months later and I'm out of tekong and posted to SISPEC, another boring place.

Fast forward to 2008 and here I am, bloggin away, while my mind is thinking about the SOC, IPPT, Range and Field Camp that I'll be going through next week. Cant wait to ORD man!

Well talking about army life makes me sad, so I change the subject. Bought a shirt at FreshBox. Didnt really notice that shirt until I found that the sleeve of the shirt was shorter than the normal long sleeve shirt! Haha, that is to say that the sleeve is only three quarter. Thus I do not have to fold too much. And the funniest thing is that my friend and I both bought that same shirt and the same color!!! LOL~~! The cashier even asked us if we were brothers, I wanted to reply him that so if we are brothers, will there be discount?? Lol... I also bought a grey pants at G2000 because they were having a sales, it used to cost $89 but I bought it for $39, thus I've saved $50!!! I actually wanted to buy two, but my friend persuaded me to buy one first. Hmm... wonder if I did the right thing...

Anyway thats all I'm blogging because I'm getting tired and need to catch some sleep. Will blog more when I have the chance!
Cya~!

Happy Chinese New Year!

Hi...Happy chinese new year to all!!!

I'm back to my blog, after resting for a month...lol

Jan was quite a hectic month for me cos I had my exams and projects to do. Hopefully, I'll pass my exams and my Final Year Projects(which is a pain in the a** =X).

So finally, Feb came and I've finished my exams. Now, its time to find a job(hopefully, a full-time one and pays better), and also wait for my enlistment -.-"

This year's chinese new year was a good one because I had a lot of fun!
During sat, the eve of chinese new year, my family had a reunion dinner. Its been a long time since I ate my mum's fried bee hoon, its still as good as before, thou my sis and mum kept saying that its not salty enough, but I think its quite ok already, oh well... There were sweet and sour sauce prawns, fried sotong balls and my fav shark fins soup! Quite a meal I must say...hehe
I stayed up until 4am before I went to sleep and had to wake up at 8am the next day.

On Sun, which is the first day of chinese new year, we ate lotus paste buns for breakfast. There was a preview channel on SCV so my sis and I were quite glued to the TV screen, my mum even had to drag my sis to bath...lol
After bathing, I wore my new clothes which I bought, spent my entire salary on those clothes, it had better look nice on me or else...haha
In the end, we were the last to go to my 3rd uncle's house(from my mother's side, well you cant differentiate Uncles and Aunts much with English). My 1st uncle was pretty rude, his family left before we even came. Well I thought he could at least stay awhile longer for us to reach first and talk a bit with her sister...but, oh well, I guess he had something important to do, heard his cab had an accident or something. What I mind most is the Hong Bao I've missed...lol
But the house visitng went quite well and I sure am happy to meet my relatives this year. There was not much scrutinization, except for the "when are you going for NS" question. The most shocking thing is to see one of my cousin, who changed so much after only a year. His hair is reddish gold in color, and he has grown bigger in size, looks like a Ah Beng...lol. But luckily his still the same cousin I knew a year ago...haha. I'm actually quite shock that my 3rd uncle is like suddenly so concern with my future...lol

For the 2nd day of chinese new year, I went to my 6th aunt's house(from my father's side). I had the most fun that day because all of them were very cheerful and there were not much scrutinization from them. I went to my cousin's room and she renovated her room quite professionally. Her room was in grey, white and black in color.Very futuristic and not at all...cute...lol. My big aunt was the funniest, she was just sitting at the dinning table, eating away, pointing to all the people who came in through the front door, saying this person has grown fatter, that person has slim down, this has grown taller, with her mouth full of fishballs and crabmeats...LOL. She's like an inspector. After she finished her food, she went and sit on the sofa, as she's sitting down, she let out a big "AH~..." sound. It was really funny. One incident was that I found a Hongbao below my feet while my cousins, my sis and I were standing behind the sofa talking and watching TV. But my 3rd Uncle was so professional that one feel of the Hongbao and he can confirm that there's no money inside -.-

I'm such a SAINT to tell them that I've found a Hongbao, but my cousins all 'accused' me that I've took the money and was just showing the empty Hongbao...lol. Then when we went to my cousin's room, still they do not let me off. My older cousin said, "Wils, that's onli a few of your cousins in this room now, you can come clean with us, we promised we wont tell anyone anything." Argh!!! I cant believe that they were still trying to dig the "truth" out...haha
But it was all for laughs only...

The 3rd day was the most memorable day for me.
My secondary school friends and I went to visit each other's house!
It was very fun, we stopped at one house for about an hour, then we move on to another house. But we stopped at my friend, Jason's house the longest because his house is SOOO big, and we watched Superman Returns with his surround sound system...lol
But some of my friend and I were playing majong and watching superman at the same time. I can tell you it was so stressful!
Cant wait for saturday...

Alright, all I've written were the shortened versions of what really happened. If I wrote every single detail, I'll need to find a publisher.

That's all for today!
see you...
