Merry X'mas & a Happy New Year!!!

Yay~! Its the holiday seasons again! Merry Christmas to all... Alright, I know its a bit late to wish everyone but hey, better late then never, right? Oh and happy new year to everyone as well!

What I have done for this holiday? Hmmm, let's see...

I've been working my butt's off for that whole week... Trying to find all the magazines that my boss subscribes to and that has expired or is going to. But she wants me to fill in the subscription form on her behalf and I'm quite disturb by it. Why cant she fill up the form herself because am I suppose to write my name or hers? If I'm suppose to write mine, then what about the payment method? And if I'm suppose to write hers, I don't even know her particulars and credit card number. So I'm still trying to figure out how to ask her and when to ask her. You know, its going to be the end of 2009, so I do not want to ask her something so soon.

Then came Thursday where it was Christmas Eve! So I went to work as usual, but with a more festive mood. Send my news alert as usual in the morning. Was gonna continue with my other work in the afternoon when suddenly my boss asked me if I have sent my news alert and I said yes. Then she asked if I would be willing to go Vivo City to collect the log cake and the honey baked ham. Wasn't she suppose to pick it up herself? She even asked us to remind her. And now she's asking me to pick it up FOR HER!?!?! Then what's the use of reminding her when I've to collect them for her? I might as well remind myself. BUT, being her subordinate, I have no choice but to say I do not mind at all, while at the back of my mind, I was thinking of what I've just written earlier. Did I also tell you that it was raining heavily? So with an umbrella in my hand, off I go to Vivo City. It took me very long to collect the honey baked ham because there was some confusion. Apparently my boss did not leave her particulars down, thus the person spelled her name wrongly and I've to call her and confirm the order. What a dread! And the ham was not that light to carry. It came with a box that looks nice but does not feel good to hold as the edge were kinda sharp. So is the log cake, which also came with a box that was not good to hold. And lastly, I went and grab the garlic bread, which was an additional order by my boss because apparently, she likes it. I've to wait for 20mins for it because the waitress apparently gave my bread to someone else because that person only ordered 2, while I ordered 3. The worst part of it was we did not even finish eating one garlic bread later. After collecting everything, I was on my way down to the station to take the train back when I just found out that I've no hands to tap my card. So how am I suppose to get pass the gantry without tapping the card? Am I suppose to ask someone who may be in a bit of a giving mood and do not mind helping me to carry some boxes that weighs a ton while I reach for my card and scan it? But no, I did not do that, I just shove my ham under my arms and reach for my card. Thank god it was not raining when I went back so I was spared the agony of balancing 2 boxes and an umbrella at the same time.

Back in the office, all those I-do-not-know-who-they-are-but-its-my-boss's-friends-so-I-have-to-be-nice came and the office sure was crowded. Let me fast forward the whole Christmas lunch thingy and just said that I just mingle around with those I know and ate the fullest lunch that I'll ever eat, this year. Then came the most ridiculous part, it was already four plus in the evening when we finished our lunch. So we were trying to stuff whatever things we can to prolong the eating period so that we can reach 5pm, which is our official end work time. Then our boss looked at us, gave us the very cheeky look, and said, "Do you all know today is a half day? You all can go off after you all eat finish." We were all like, WTF!?!?! @#$%&... We said, "Why didn't you tell us before hand?" and she was like, "You all didn't ask so I never say." We were all like DOUBLE WTF!?!?! She said it as though there was nothing wrong with not telling us that it was a half day and it was our own fault for not asking her before that day. I was quite pissed and wanted to go off immediately, but my colleagues wanted to stay awhile, take photo, and help to clean up. So I tried to calm down and stayed awhile to help out. After that I went home to have a nap before going out with my friends to watch Sherlock Holmes. I was suppose to meet them earlier for dinner, but I ate a lot during lunch plus I overslept. Haha so I've no choice but to just meet them for the movie. Sherlock Holmes was a GREAT movie. I mean the solving of the murders was quite exciting. The fighting was really fantastic, even though we all knew that the real Sherlock Holmes would not fight like Robert Downey Jr. Haha, at least he was really funny and charismatic, so is Jude Law and Rachel McAdam. They were all equally good. All in all it was good, just that the screen was a bit dark, which spoil the movie a little, and the explanation of the murder was too brief and fast. He could have explained it in more details. Oh well, I still like the show and the character. Too bad I did not watch Avatar because I heard it was good. Plus it has Sam Worthington... LOL, that was for my sister =P

I just watched tv for the whole of Christmas day. Yeah you heard me right, I watched TV the whole day. There were nothing much to watch except CHRISTMAS SHOWS. Seriously, every show they shown were all about Christmas, from morning till night, the whole 24hrs. But I did get to watch G.I.Joe on Christmas day, with my sister. That was a pretty awesome show too. Sienna Miller was hot! Haha and so was Channing Tatum. And that guy from Hot Chick was also in it, very funny guy... Oh by the way, Chan is now married to Jenna Dewan, the actress who acted with him in Step Up. They married on 11 July 2009. Oh well, one more good guy being taken off the shelf...Haha, oh and I just found out that G.I Joe 2 will be coming out on 2011... Yipee!

I spent Christmas and Boxing day watching DollHouse. Lol yea I'm very lazy to go out. But I just cant understand why would FOX axed away DollHouse. Now that the show is gonna be over, the show has become really exciting, with Echo and the gang being the resistance party... lol, trying to fight against the Rossum corp. Haha it feels more and more like Terminator, with all the apocalyptic stuffs... but minus the robots. There are just so many shows that I have watched and I'm really lazy to review each and everyone of them. So I'll leave with just that, who knows, maybe I'll review another show next time.

Till next time then...

Random Blabber

Wasn't thinking that anyone would read my blog, other than mua(I)... =D
Anyway, its been a very long time since I blog. I still remember the last entry I wrote was during September, where I O.R.D, or in other term, I've just released from the Army. Is it a good or a bad thing? Well I kinda still miss the old days where I can go and do horizontal ironing of my bed sheet and body maintenance if I want to. In case anyone is reading my blog(which I doubt so...), those two things meant only one thing, and that is to sleep!~ Haha... Seriously, I can sleep wherever and whenever I want to, and don't have to do a lot of things in camp.

O.R.D

Yea!!! Finally I'm released from the army! After 2 years serving in the army, they have officially let me go... Although I'm free, I'm now jobless... Hopefully, I'll find a job a.s.a.p....

For the last 2 years in the army, thought its not all pleasant, I've actually learn a lot. I've made a lot of friends throughout my army lives... some are just normal hi bye friends, while there are some who I think I really treasure and will continue my friendship with them till I die... Haha, that sound so serious, but its true. I've also learn that no matter if you are in the army, or the corporate world, the only person you can depend on is just you. There are a lot of things that the army is very similar to the corporate world. We must also be very careful of how we present ourselves and what others think of us. Other than how the corporate world is going to be like, I've also learn other things like independent, how to clean up my own room, pack my own stuffs, and if I want something, I have to achieve it myself.

Now that I'm out of the army, I'm frantically trying to find a job! Its so difficult to find one nowadays. I'm not choosy, its just that not all jobs are suitable for me. All the companies that called me are insurance companies or what they call, 'wealth management consultant', ' finiancial consultant'. Seriously, I do not think I'm up to the task of selling insurance to people because I know that if I do not believe in insurance, how am I suppose to sell what I do not believe in to others?

I went out with my secondary school friends on Friday night to have dinner and celebrate 2 of our friends' birthdays. Its been awhile since I saw them, and believe it or not, this year is gonna be our 10 years anniversary! Haha, we are so gonna plan a party to celebrate our 10 years of friendship.

Let me tell you a very interesting and embarrassing story...
My friends and I always meet up on Sunday morning to have a run down the canal. We have a twin sisters, lets call them TQ and TY. 'TQ' is my friend and TY is her sister.
So the story starts whereby I'm waiting for my friends at a bus stop, so 'TQ' came and without really looking at her, I just said hi and we continue to meet another friend, R. So along the way, 'TQ' told me that despite going to the toilet before she went out of her house, she still feeling a need to go to the toilet again when she reach here. So I told her shit happens sometimes and we will find her the nearest coffeeshop so that she can relieve herself. So we met up with R, who is also my friend. So the 3 of us, 'TQ', R and I started walking to the nearest coffeeshop. Then 'TQ' start the conversation and half way through it, she asked if I was W, and I was like, c'mon, are you kidding me? We've been friends for 10 years and you are asking my this kinda question? So I was feeling a bit annoyed but nonetheless told her yes. 2 weeks before this run, TQ sms my other male friend, QW, and told him to remind the other guys that there will be a run, not that QW is not a guy. So i ask 'TQ' why did she sms him like tat. So 'TQ' was like, 'WHAT?!' she looks very confused and I was very confused too. Then R turn and point at 'TQ' and said to me, "W, this is TY, not TQ!". I was like "&@^$!" Omg... lol! That was then that I finally realized that I was talking to TY all along, and not TQ! I've mistaken TY as TQ!!! They both look quite different if you look at them carefully. So I quickly apologized to TY and said that I have not fully woken up just now, but now I am, after this embarrassing moment.

Haha, this incident taught me to look carefully at my friends before I start babbling away...
